The state of West Bengal's top pharmacy school is the Haldia Institute of Pharmacy (HIP). With the aim of developing professionally competent workforce in the field of pharmaceutical science and education, the institute was founded in 2018 by the India Centre for Advancement of Research and Education (ICARE). Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, has given the Institute its approval. B. Pharm and D. Pharm are among the bachelor's and diploma programs offered by the institute. The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) & Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Kolkata, are associated with the B. Pharm programme, and the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal (SMFWB) & Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Kolkata, are affiliated with the D. Pharm course. HIP has knowledgeable, committed, skilled, and experienced faculty members for the students' academic development.
